1	I need to schedule a small dinner party or something.
2	Stay back. We're contagious.
3	Being grumpy at the very people who were trying to help me...
6	I sat back down with a thump!
7	Well, I'm about twenty minutes late for work today, but I've voted. Now I'm entitled to bitch about the "gummint" and those fools who run it.
8	"...I'm going to go home, watch the election coverage, and get drunk."
9	Wait. Wrong speech. I'm a little flustered.
10	The incompetants who'd organized the fund raiser had given her the bag of things people had ordered, and a list of names and phone numbers, but no addresses, and nothing to indicate what each person had ordered.
13	"If it takes one chicken one day to lay one egg, how long would it take a monkey with a wooden leg to kick all the seeds out of dill pickle?"
14	The bottoms of my feet are itching and crawling just thinking about it.
15	Don't mistake this for a lack of intelligence.
16	Lots of distractions, none of which are really interesting enough or mentally consuming enough to write about.
17	...he suddenly looked uncomfortable. "That's not quite what I imagined," he confessed.
20	I can't help it. I have a thing for tall guys.
21	What, oh what, shall I do?
22	Thanksgiving isn't the single day of the year to finally recognize the things for which I am grateful, any more than Valentine's Day is the single day of the year I can tell my husband how much I love him.
27	After a four-day weekend, there should be another short week to sortof ease us back into it. Don't you think?
28	I really meant it when I said I'd have to start baking as soon as we got back from Chicago.
29	Yep. I'm all about holiday fun.
30	"I can't find it!" I wailed.
