Last year: I'm feeling amazingly un-talkative today.

Ah, Friday. Matt is using extra hours from weekend work and travel to take the day off, so naturally it was extremely difficult for me to pull my lazy ass out of bed this morning. Matt's at his cuddliest first thing in the morning, and I tried to resist, I really did... But between a warm, snuggly husband and a somewhat chilly and overly-bright bathroom, which would you pick?

Oh, well. I have a couple of extra hours from Monday that I plan to use this afternoon, so I should be home by about two. That's some solace, at least.

And as far as I know, there are no weird plans for the weekend. 7th Sea game on Saturday (or are we back to Sunday? I forget...) and the laundry to do... The weather reports for the weekend are glowing, so I'll probably ride my bike some. Other than that, I intend to lounge around the house as lazily as I can possibly manage.

Bah. My thoughts have scattered and are wandering, and I can't seem to herd them back into any semblance of order.

Where are they? Well, there's one over there that's sortof idly perusing the Bob Segar song, "Her Strut," which I heard on the way to work this morning, and wondering whether Bob deliberately wrote the song so the line, "They do respect her, but" could be heard as, "They do respect her butt."

There's another one over there sitting in a corner and thinking about how to tell whether someone actually likes you or is tolerating you for the sake of someone else or out of politeness. Yeah, it's focused on someone in particular, but they read this journal, so I won't say who or give any clues. But as long as it's thinking about it, that thought is also occasionally wandering down the byways of the past and examining some other people's actions and trying to interpret them.

Here's a happy but someone harried thought about some things I need to do to prepare for Valentine's Day.

A couple of sleepy thoughts are beginning to ponder some stuff at work.

Oh, this one isn't wandering at all, but it's a little dry - it's trying to figure out how to fit everything into the new Flash I'm working on, since I discovered last night that my original plan wasn't going to work very well.

One little bit is pondering my financial situation and wondering if I can afford a cell phone on my allowance; and is also considering things like job changes.

And one not-so-little bit is snarling in hunger, so I'd better go get some breakfast. Have a great weekend, kiddies!
