Okay, I've posted my latest Flash project. One note, before I give you the link: It absolutely requires the Flash 5 plugin. If you have something older, you'll see a lot of gobbledegook. I'm currently working on a warning that will be displayed if you have an older version, but - and this is because Flash is stupid - the function for determining which version of Flash you're running only works with Flash 5 or later.

But a friend who doesn't have Flash 5 is helping me test the error message (I was pretty sure I had it, and was going to repost it with the change this morning before writing this entry, but for some reason the text is a different size font for him so he can't read the whole thing) and hopefully I'll have the corrected version posted later today. I'll probably say something to the notify list when it happens.

Anyway. You can avoid all this hassle by just downloading the latest version of Flash Player. Except for Jeremy, who isn't allowed to update until I get this warning thing figured out.

Oh, yeah, the project. It's an I Ching hexagram generator with wooshy graphics. The explanation is here, and the Flash itself is here. If you encounter any problems that you think are not related to version issues, please let me know as soon as possible!

Bah. It's a cold, rainy day; I only got five hours of sleep last night (despite logging off early, I kept finding "just one more thing" that had to be done before going to bed); and the project I'm supposed to be doing at work is swiftly going to the dogs. All of this adds up to just one thing: I want to go back to bed.

AAAA! I was just staring into space, trying to decide if I had anything else to say here, and the words on the whiteboard started moving - like they were painted on a flag that was shifting very slowly in the breeze.

I definitely need to go back to bed. Or at least have some breakfast.
