Reflections in the Dragon's Eye: A Journal

Bah, I say. I'm off again today for another day-long meeting with the customer. So I'm going to make this fast, and then I might update this afternoon.

The thing I was doing this week that I couldn't list along with everything else was that I was conspiring with Kevin to give K.T. a birthday surprise yesterday. Kevin got a bonus check from work that K.T. didn't know about, so he had Matt and me pick him up early from work and take him shopping. Then we went over to their apartment and collected a bewildered and surprised K.T. and took her to dinner at her favorite restaurant, Darryl's.

She'd had a particularly irritating day (having driven all the way to VA Beach and back for training that she hadn't been told had been cancelled) so our little surprise was just the ticket.

I was very dubious about the sheep. Very dubious indeed!

This is my reaction to the knitted sheep finger puppet. The thing still fascinates me. I can't get over it. Eventually, I'll have to take a picture of myself playing with it.

It's one of those little squishy balls with a tongue that unrolls when you squeeze it. I wish I'd taken a picture of the cat playing with it.

Matt was extremely dubious about the squishy thing. But then, it was rude to him.

Matt's reading the Non Sequitur comic collection Beastly Things. Any comic that can make Matt and I laugh out loud in surprise is a good comic.

Anyway, I'd better go get ready for this dumb meeting. Anyone who wants to send me a phone message, feel free!
