Last year: Wow. That was way too philosophical for a Monday morning. Sorry.
I've got to put a limit on the Halling, I swear. It happened again last night: After the regular weekly session, Karen and I were chatting, and she said something that one of my characters felt obliged to respond to, and suddenly bam! we were Halling again.
A little before 12:30, I suggested that we wrap up soon, since I had to go to work the next morning. A little after 1:30, we actually finished. (And only then by main force.)
It may be a coffee morning.
I was backing out of the driveway this morning, half-listening to the radio DJs talk about their expectations for the movie Pearl Harbor, when one of them mentioned the upcoming three-day weekend. It shocked me into momentary wakefulness.
Monday's a holiday. I won't have to come to work. A long weekend, thankyougod.
Well. Since I've been sitting here staring blankly at my computer screen for the past 10 minutes, my mind wandering aimlessly between the Hall (which I'm trying not to obsess about in my journal too much) and work (which would be so inexpressibly boring to write about that I'm not even going to try) I think it's time I went and got that cup of coffee, and then got to work on... something.
Sorry for the pathetic entry.
