You can't see me, but right now I'm doing the Friday dance.

Well, okay, maybe not. But I am mightily happy that the weekend is nigh. I went home yesterday and puttered around for a while before halfway falling asleep in my chair. So I went upstairs and took a nap until about six-thirty.

At ten, my eyelids started dragging again. I went to bed around 10:45, but - naturally - couldn't get to sleep for nearly an hour. But I'm just about ready to be able to sleep in for a couple of mornings.

Naturally, since I spent half my evening asleep, I don't have much to talk about.

Or more precisely, I do, but most of it's Hall stuff, and I'm trying to avoid boring you half to death. The summary is like this: I spent a good amount of my waking time yesterday working on an origin story for my new character.

I'm hoping that he'll leave me alone for a few hours today and let me get my work done. New characters are always very eager.

They are. Shut up.

Here. I took this picture of one of the tulips Matt sent me for Valentine's Day, and it turned out so well that I'm using it for my desktop background. (I've reduced the size here, of course.)

Isn't it pretty? I have the greatest sweetie.

(But I had to argue with the Zip drive to get it to work. I think maybe carrying it around with me isn't as good an idea as it once seemed.)

I had a dream last night that my manager came up to me and asked for my password so he could look at the document I'm supposed to have been working on all week, and I panicked badly while I tried to think of an excuse why so little has been done.

I think it's a sign. I'm off to do some work now.
