Well, my new shampoo and conditioner came in the mail yesterday, so today's the first day I'm trying them. I hope they work for me as well as they worked for K.T. If I like the shampoo and conditioner, I may go through them for some other products as well - like body wash or cosmetics.

Yesterday? Slow. Slow slow slow slow slow. Didn't do much of anything at work - played on Neopets and wrote a scene for a short story. Got home and aside from going to the grocery store, I didn't do much of anything. Got on the Hall and didn't do much of anything. Then I went to bed. One of those days, I guess.

Today? Even slower. I've got to attend three and a half hours worth of "training" meetings on the Level Five Configuration Maturity Model Integration. Doesn't that sound like just the most fascinating thing on the planet? Zzzz...

I'll be sure to take a notebook in with me so when I get bored I can work on that short story some more, or maybe just doodle in the margins. Too bad I don't have wireless internet at the office like I do at home; I could at least surf. They're not even going to feed us.

I went to bed fairly early last night - around 11. This morning, the cat woke me up at 5:30, and I trudged downstairs and put him in the bathroom. Then I went back to bed. The alarm went off at six, and I didn't even pull the covers off my head - I just sent one hand out to hit the snooze. The alarm went off again at 6:07 and I actually cracked an eyelid and turned over before hitting the snooze. It went off at 6:14, and I yawned and thought, Okay, I really need to get up now.

The alarm went off again at 6:21. Oops.

The voices in my head...Sunday night's session surely has Dawn right up in the front of my head. I played Tarri on the Hall last night because both Kevil and Zoya would have experienced personality leakage. Tarri's natural optimism and cheerfulness served to keep Dawn mostly at bay, though even sweet Tarri came up with a couple of sarcastic comments.

I found a handful of pictures to use for Dawn and Dusk's section of the website, but they're all single pictures - I'm still looking for a picture of the two of them together. (It's rough. How many pictures are there of scruffy blonde mages? Much less pictures of a pair of thief-mages, one blonde, one dark? I'm going to have to doctor the pics I found as it is.) And I need to write the artists to ask for the permission to modify and use their pics, too. I wish to hell I could draw better than I can - I can see them so clearly in my mind.

At least I can write. I think I'm nearing completion of Dawn's origin story, and he told me the beginnings of a more recent story yesterday. I'm hoping to coax some more of it out today. (It shouldn't be hard, since I'll be stuck in that meeting for half the day... He'll be at least as bored as I am, though he's much more patient.) And slowly - piece by tiny piece - I'm coaxing Dusk's origin story out of him. So when I finish getting Dawn and Dusk's pages put together, there will at least be a couple of stories to post.
