The voices in my head...Yep. I'm not even going to try to pretend to talk about anything else today. When Matt's alarm went off this morning, the radio was playing Foreigner's "Blue Morning." (I have the greatest hits album. I just went looking for the song in my MP3s, and discovered that I somehow only ripped tracks 4-14, out of 17. How very peculiar.)

Out in the street / it's six a.m. / Another sleepless night / Three cups of coffee / but I can't clear my head / of what went down last night.

That about sums up the Hall this weekend. In a couple of different ways, even.

I spent quite a bit of time Friday night, and even more time on Saturday working on this story from Dawn and Dusk's past. I finally got it finished and posted - but be warned, it's not very pretty.

Saturday night, K.T. and Karen stayed up late with a session that ended on a cliffhanger. Sunday morning, I found the transcript in my inbox - and reading it made several of the voices in my head scream. By the time evening rolled around, Karen was practically in a frenzy, and three characters were pacing angrily in the back of my head.

Finally, we had the session and resolved the cliffhanger - but two of my three characters were still pissed off. Then K.T. asked me if we'd wanted to go ahead and do another session that we'd been planning (before the cliffhanger came up). It was only about 8:00, so I said, "Sure!"

Gah. I'd forgotten how much Kevil resonates in my skull when he's angry. And sending a demon-possessed assassin to kill his fiancée is definitely one very fast way to get him pissed off. I was afraid I wasn't going to get to sleep last night.

But it was fun, I'll definitely give it that. Karen wanted to keep going - moving on to the next logical step for the plot K.T. is working on. But by then, it was nearly midnight, and I was ready to go to bed.

And now it's morning. I'm ready for more. But first, I have to get through work.
