If I were going to rate yesterday on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being the absolute worst possible day I could have, and 10 being the absolute best, yesterday would have been about a four.

Nothing really disastrous happened, but there was a whole stack of little crappy annoying things.

My program didn't want to work, and I felt like an idiot when I had to have certain simple things explained to me by my officemate.

I brought my bike to work, finally, and got permission to keep it in a spare room off the warehouse - but when I went to ride it, I discovered that the tires were completely flat. I nearly fell flat on my face - in front of my officemate, who'd just stepped outside for a smoke.

I got in my car after work to discover that it was broilingly hot - and my air conditioning isn't working again. They were supposed to have fixed it last year.

I think the cat is mad at me for hiding Matt from him. (Matt's in Washington again this week. They told him about it last Friday afternoon - nothing like planning eh?) Anyway, the cat usually lurks close by, but last night went and sat at the top of the stairs for most of the evening.

My 'J' key on my laptop was only working intermittently. So I took out the keyboard and shook it out, and a lot of crud came out. The 'J' key started working again, but now the 'F' key is a little wonky.

Like that. Nothing truly horrible. It could definitely have been worse. Just a lot of little things not going my way.

Let's hope today is better.
