June 2002

I spent four days saving up anecdotes to tell, so naturally this morning I can't remember a single one of them.
I know, I know, my life just seems more exciting by the minute, doesn't it?
I want to know where my grandmother got it.
The voices are screaming at me, and yet they are refusing to come out.
Of course, I'm doing my usual pre-computer-change jitters, too, but I'll get over it.
We pulled a little further past him, and I said, "Hey! I think that's Braz!"
Before you accuse me of devolving entirely into a bad case of Mac-luv, I'll say the transition to OS X isn't going as smoothly as I had hoped.
  No hesitation. No wait.
Have I bored you utterly, yet?
"Oh, warm, sure, but I doubt this pizza is going to cripple you for life or anything."
Yup, I guess it's just a short anecdote kind of morning...
It's not so much that I'm tired (though I am, a little) as that everything that's currently flitting through my brain is only worth a sentence or two, at most.
Worse still, they noticed I was bored and tried to explain it to me.
Uh... Fine, we're all fine here... How are you?
I can't even make sense of this...
But I didn't spend the weekend entirely vegetable-like.
There are always those moments during the day when I think, "Oh, I should write about that tomorrow," and then - of course - I forget.
And the Liz took the potion, and gave the Wise Man many gifts of money, and went on her way.
It took me over four hours, but I finally did it: I've got a virtual PC installed on my Mac, running Windows 98.
I thought he was cute, so I grabbed my camera...
