And just what kind of online journal would it be if I didn't have some Crazy Cat Lady pictures, hmm?

Picture of the Day

Random got dumped with not one but two panic projects yesterday, which means I'm the one who has to finish the testing we were doing. I hate testing. Oh, well. There's not much left to do, anyway.

And I got another database application to test, as well. Bleah. At least this one can be tested from my desk.

I'm taking tomorrow off. Tomorrow begins the MacWorld New York Expo, and Jeremy's arranged for the satellite broadcast of the keynote address to be picked up in one of the theaters on William and Mary's campus.

This represents all new levels of geekitude - in previous years, we've contented ourselves with watching the streaming broadcast.

But since Jeremy's gone to all that trouble - why not? The keynote only runs until noon, but I'm not going to want to dork around at work after a whole morning of MacLuv, am I? I'll pack up my laptop and a bunch of us Mac geeks will spend the morning sitting around geeking.

And then I'll go home and geek some more, and in the evening Matt and I will go over to K.T. and Kevin's for dinner.

Sounds good to me!

(I just have to get through today...)

In any case there probably won't be an entry tomorrow. Just so y'all don't panic on me or anything.

The voices in my head...Gah! K.T. infected me with yet another character!

...Maybe. I'm still kind of tentatively poking at her to see if she'll turn into a real occupant of my brain, or if - like Loria's brother Kristo and his adventuring friends - she'll be an NPC who occasionally drops by for a visit. She could swing either way fairly easily, so... we'll see.

On the other hand, I finally gave up and made Missa her own page. She's too interesting and too much fun to play to force her to remain an NPC. (I apologize for the background color on that page... She rather insisted. Though apparently the background color doesn't show up in Mozilla. I'm not sure why; Mozilla is supposed to be more CSS-compliant than all the other browsers. I'm working on it.)
