Picture of the Day

I just thought it was a pretty pinecone, okay?

I had to go to my manager yesterday and tell him that I didn't have any work this week. He managed to scrape together something that would keep me occupied for a day or so, but I really hate not having anything to do.

Not so much because I like work, but if they don't have anything for me to do, then my job is in jepardy, and that would be disastrous in the current economy.

Not much to talk about today... I spent most of yesterday evening being sleepy and fighting a headache, so I didn't do much, and I went to bed early.

My brother sent me a link to his online portfolio, and I spent some time looking through that. It ranges from oil painting to line drawings to watercolors to photography to sculpture. He's got some amazing stuff; go look!

(I'm going through them all again, myself, because some of the lighter pictures are a little hard to see on my LCD-screen laptop.)
