23 August 2002 Busy day, busy day. This morning I need to type up my weekly status report, and write up a bunch of test scripts. (All but one of them are pretty much exactly the same thing over and over; thank the gods for copy-and-paste.) Hopefully, I'll have those finished by 11 or 11:30. At 11:30, my mom is supposed to come and pick me up for lunch. I imagine that will take closer to an hour and a half or two hours than one. And then I'm leaving the office at 3:30 so I can drive up to my doctor's office and let them draw a little blood for the annual thyroid check. (They used to do this check at the same time as my regular annual visit, but last year my count was off, so it took them a couple of months to adjust my meds again. I imaine in another year or so it'll be off again - hypothyroidism is one of those things that usually worsens with age - and the check will creep forward another few months. Maybe by the time I'm 40 or 45, it'll be back to happening at the same time as my annual physical.) Oh, and while I'm there I need to remember to make an appointment for a consultation with my doctor on another matter. K.T. told me the other day that Kevin may have plans with his friend Scott after work tonight. If he does, I'll probably go over to her place so we can work on the novel some. We've got some timeline issues that really need to be straightened out. Otherwise, I really want to finish writing this section that I started yesterday, but screwed up, kind of. And that's my day. I'd better get on with it, hmm? |
Last Year: - I now have 87 songs - nearly 400 megs of MP3s - sitting in my shared music directory, most of it completely new to me.
