Bah. Matt has to go to New Jersey next week.

But it's worse than that: Trenton apparently doesn't have an airport worth sneezing at, so he has to take the train. After much ranting, he was given the choice between leaving from Williamsburg on Sunday morning at 9, or leaving from Richmond on Monday morning at 6. Either way, he'll be coming back to Richmond Friday night around 9. He opted to leave on Sunday.

But it's worse than that: The office he's going to is a full-bore suit-and-tie place.

But it's worse than that: The project he's going up there for is apparently in panic mode, as many of the people on it have been sending him e-mails as late as 9 at night. So he might very well get up there to find himself working 12 hour days.

The good news is that he found out about it yesterday instead of today.

It's not much of a silver lining, is it?

All I can say is, they'd better give him a nice raise this year.

Here's hoping I'll be able to get some writing done next week. I haven't been a complete slacker this week, but I haven't exactly been pounding them out, either. And the weekend isn't going to be but so productive on that front, either; we have errands to run and I have a baby shower to go to and... like that.

At least work isn't going to be terribly busy today. I hope.
