18 October 2002 'Nother slow day yesterday. Matt and I watched some of the special features on the Monsters, Inc. DVD set. Some of them were really cute and funny; some of them were kind of boring; some of them were just weird. We spent most of the evening just sitting around, though. I did some Neopetting, and we did some chatting, but I'd gotten sleepy on the way to dinner at 6:30, and never really woken up again. We went to bed around 11 or so. I'm so glad it's Friday. I've got a small list of things to do this weekend, including buying bulbs and mulch for the front yard. (I hope we can get the mulch into the trunk of my car. We don't have the old van anymore for that kind of thing.) That'll be tomorrow; tonight I'm going down to K.T.'s to novelize, if Kevin's plans don't change. Though I'm not quite sure what's left for us to do together until we're done with the first draft. The weather is finally getting cooler. This time last year, we'd already had a frost. But it was only this morning that Matt and I actually considered turning on the heat. (Time to break out the lotion.) We haven't actually turned the heat on yet, mind you. As soon as we do, the weather is guaranteed to take a turn for the warmer. But I'm wearing my first long-sleeved shirt of the season, today, and I actually noticed that a few leaves were turning yesterday. Gosh, I love the fall.
