Who gave that weekend permission to be over already?

It was actually a pretty good weekend. Friday evening I went over to K.T.'s and we worked on editing. I was there for about five hours. We actually worked for about three - and in those three hours, we worked hard. And we covered... about three and a half pages. Wow. This is going to take some doing, even if it does get faster as we get more used to it.

To finish in anything like reasonable time, we should probably have editing sessions about once a week, but I'm not entirely certain that will work out. It doesn't really seem fair to leave Matt at home alone every Friday night, but I'm pretty sure he'd be bored stiff if he came with me. Ah, well, we'll work something out, I'm sure.

Saturday was pretty much taken up by Kris' surprise birthday party, which was a lot of fun (even if I was beginning to think that game of Pictionary would never end). Kris' sister was there with her troll-doll baby (no, the baby's perfectly cute, really. She's just got this troll-doll hair) and her parents were there, and I swear Kris' mom and sister were more excited about my pregnancy than my own mother. It's easy to see where Kris gets her enthusiasm.

Sunday we stayed home most of the day. We did laundry and cuddled on the couch while watching a couple episodes of Sports Night, and in general just had a great, lazy day.

But, darnit, it was too short!

This week, at least, promises to be a little less hectic. My dad is coming over one evening to take measurements for our attic, and K.T. and I need to see if we can plough our way through another chapter of editing some other evening, and that's about it.

Well, and the Hall on Monday and K.T.'s game on Tuesday.

Okay, so maybe I should just be grateful that things are kind of slow at work.
