It could be a side-effect of pregnancy - I've seen it listed in a couple of books as a common symptom. On the other hand, it could be the emergence of spring. The temperature is bouncing like a rubber ball, but keeps edging upward. Crocuses and miniature irises are blooming in my flowerbed, and the first sprouts of the tulips I planted are beginning to peek through the soil. Or maybe I caught it from some one else. Matt, maybe. Whatever the reason for it, I'm about sick of it. I've been sniffling for three days straight, and what little good Sudafed does me is immediately offset by the fact that even so-called "non-drowsy" stuff makes me feel lethargic and molasses-brained. (What did you think I was talking about?) Thursday. The weekend is nearly here... Just another couple of days... Actually, the week hasn't been that bad (aside from the sniffling). I just want an excuse to be lazy. Not that we'll get to be but so lazy this weekend. K.T. and I are editing Friday night. Saturday (or sometime) I want to go up to the Toyota dealership and start the ball rolling on my new car. Matt and I need to go to Sam's Club and pick up a few things. And we need to do some more packing in the computer room. And our friend Rachel is coming to town for the weekend, so we'll want to squeeze in some time to socialize. So we'll be busy. But not working. And we'll still get to sleep in. Ah, sleep... |
Last Year: On the other hand, Murphy (you know, the fellow with the Law?) likes to hang out around us quite a bit.
