Links!

First: The new car. I thought about just putting the picture here, but then you would be deprived of clickalicious fun!

(Yes, I did take my medicine this morning. Why do you ask?)

Second: One of the things Matt and I did over the weekend was go to Babies R Us and set up a registry.

It's not complete yet, by any stretch - we decided to put off some items (like nursery decor and bedding) until we know the child's gender. (Which will be - hopefully - in about two weeks.) And on the advice of a friend, we didn't register any clothes, except for bibs and diapers, because seasonal items like that will rotate out of stock before people actually want to buy us things. And Matt hated every single high chair we saw at the store, so we'll be shopping elsewhere for that. (Not that you need a high chair for the first few months, anyway.)

But there's the link, and it's also over there in the sidebar. You know, in case you suddenly felt compelled to buy us stuff. Or, more likely, to go look at the stuff we want and mock our taste.

I have to admit, I personally found it amusing to go through the convenient list of "essentials" they provided for us and try to decide which were actually essential and which were conveniences that may or may not make our lives easier and happier, but which certainly would give the store more money.

The engine light is still on in the car, so I'm going to call the dealership sometime today (after they open, of course) and make an appointment for tomorrow. Preferably, around 3:30 or 4 tomorrow afternoon, so Matt can just pick me up there on his way home from work (if necessary) and we don't have to do a weird shuffle to get all the cars moved around.

I'd really like it to be fixed. I really, really would. I have better things to do with my time than run the car back and forth to the dealership. Like, say, run all over town finishing off the paperwork and licenses.
