But first, a public service message:

Twice in as many days now, I have received phone text messages from people I don't know, who asked specific questions but provided no way for me to answer them. So let me clarify. The script I have set up to send phone messages does not automatically detect your e-mail address and give it to me. What you enter on the screen is all the information I get. If you want me to respond, your best bet is to mail me.

So, Ivan and Polly, if you're reading this, I did get your messages. But if you want answers, you'll need to contact me again.

I didn't get in a full hour of packing last night. I'm not entirely certain I got in a full half hour. It was just so warm upstairs that after a little while I started feeling faint, so I stopped.

But I did manage to pack up three bags and a half bags of craft supplies, reserve out one bag for possible near-term use, half-fill a garbage bag with stuff to toss, and identify two more boxes that haven't been unpacked since we moved in, and which therefore can go straight into the attic as-is.

So I'm not feeling too lame about quitting early.

Still, it's supposed to cool down this weekend, so maybe I'll get some more time put in on Sunday. Matt's been doing some work up there, too, so we're making progress. Actually, it won't be too long before we need to set up the ladder and get Braz or my dad over to help Matt carry stuff up into the attic.

And then we'll have to figure out what to do with the stuff that's left. That'll be the hard part.
