July 2003

It conveys a certain amount of confidence without coming across as cocky.
I just wish the whole thing wasn't so stupid and complicated.
It might be time to start calling in those saved offers of assistance.
You're even worse at keeping secrets than I am.
It's almost a good thing the cat woke us up early.
Yes, I know, I can't actually sneeze the baby out.
Matt and I took yesterday off from work so that we could scout the local daycare centers.
Apparently, this was the Weekend Of The No-Good Damn Scrubby...
I don't really want to call my doctor's office about this. It's not labor.
I might be doing some whining for the next few days.
And then he wonders why I am sometimes overcome with gratitude.
I have no idea what happened to them, or why those two.
We were already buying a lot of stuff, anyway. (Oh, our aching checkbook...)
It got to the point that I was cracking up trying not to laugh each time he got transferred to someone new and he tried to recall the whole trail again.
Okay, maybe I'll get into it a little bit.
  I know - you're breathless with anticipation.
I almost cried, I was laughing so hard.y
But eventually, we all got showered and dressed and headed out to face the day. Or some pirates.
So I thought I'd mention a few things that I promise never to take for granted again, when I'm not pregnant anymore...
Does that count as nesting? Or just boredom?
But really, I couldn't be more happy for John.
