Matt discovered yesterday, while randomly following links around, that two entries from my journal last year (the 22nd and 23rd of July) are missing.

I went to look at them, and the files are there - but they're completely empty. I know I must have written something, because the pictures I'd taken for the entries are there, and there are quotes in the index to go with them, but the entries themselves...? Poof.

I have no idea what happened to them, or why those two. Anyone who knows a good archive site and happens to dig them up, I'd be grateful if you'd send them to me.

Yesterday was kind of slow. Which, to be honest, was good. I wound up doing a Hall session with K.T. and Karen for most of the evening.

(And let me tell you - it's a rare day when someone manages to out-guilt Lisl.)

Backache? Still with me. If it doesn't go away soon, I'm going to have a pretty miserable time at this wedding I'm going to tomorrow. I wonder if I could get away with bringing a pillow, at least.

K.T. and I have finally got the novel to a place where we'd like outside input to tell us whether it makes sense. There are a couple of weird glitches in there, yet, mostly due to Word not converting things the way it's supposed to. I'm going to spend some time today getting those things fixed, I hope.

Anyway, if you'd like to be a reader for us, please please please let me know. (I'd post the link directly here, but we'd like to keep the search engine's crawlers to a minimum, and we may be password-protecting the site sometime soon, just for that reason.) But do let me know if you want to read it and offer suggestions and criticism!

It's a fantasy setting, a world of our own creation, with heavy elements of romance, intrigue, and political upheaval - just so you know what you're getting yourself into. Right now, all the files are in RTF format, but if you don't have a program that can read RTFs, we can probably work something else out.
