October 2003

So I've been up since about 4:30 this morning. Excuse me if I'm a bit punchy.
The answer to that: Go back to bed.
October is going to be the Month Of Many Visitors for us.
I thought last night was going to be Bad.
Naturally, things did not go according to plan.
I might've worried about reducing our guests to babysitters, but really, they were there to see the baby anyway.
Oh yes, the Mutant Worrybrain has returned, bigger and better and stronger than ever before!
Another few months, and maybe her stomach will be big enough to hold enough food to get her through a night.
"Hey... Water breaking is one of those things you're supposed to go immediately to the hospital for, isn't it?"
Gonna be a short entry today. I'm exhausted.
Now that you've endured my whining (or impatiently scrolled past it), you get your reward: Jessica!
Yeah, I'm in the perfect mood for work followed by visiting friends.
I think I'm on the comeback trail.
It means they're doing more than just putting her in a swing or a bouncy-seat to keep her quiet.
We should probably start praying now.
It's the first thing aside from fingers or food that she's shown any interest in putting in her mouth.
  There will, obviously, be pictures.
In happier news, I've started writing again.
And now that's out of the way - the good news.
  Happy Hallowe'en
