January 2004

Here's hoping it'll set the tone for the rest of the year, too.
She hadn't been there, and now she is.
Of course, shortly after she was fed and dressed, she turned into the Baby Of Anger for no apparent reason.
I'm hanging in a kind of limbo at work.
There are things that are worth a little extra effort.
I am - as you can probably tell by this long ramble on the topic - unreasonably excited...
Wait, don't call Social Services yet...
Couple of little bumps, but nothing awful, and some pretty great highs.
I find myself stopping in the middle of sentences and switching to other tasks.
Now I feel a little less neurotic. Or maybe a little more.
Obviously, that can't all be accomplished in one day.
Here, let's end with something a bit cuter.
"Is there something you need to tell me?" I asked Matt this morning.
I was both pleased and astonished.
  "We go there now, yes?"
I'm going to start keeping a mustache and black hat in my desk drawer.
