February 2004

Well, and here we are in February.
  So that's the good news.
Just thought I'd share. No particular reason.
I know, I know - the excitement is almost too much.
I'm sure there's a rational explanation. Or maybe there isn't. You never know.
None of us could figure it out, though we had all sorts of colorful guesses.
Here's hoping it was a simple 24-hour bug.
And who can eat just one piece of chocolate? Not me.
She's only six months old, and already she has to start fending off the boys...
I'm still trying to decide if this is adorable or just a little bit stalker-spooky, but Penny adores her love-gorilla.
Matt and I both jolted upright, of course.
I'm kind of hoping today will be a bit calmer. Not counting on it, mind you, but hoping.
I haven't done that for a while. It felt good.
I fell over laughing. I really did.
I ran into him again at the end of the next aisle, and he said, "I'm not really following you."
For those of you who wonder if I ever put down the camera long enough to hold Penny myself, I have proof!
Still, it felt pretty good to make even that much progress.
Days like that make up for the days when everything is Wrong.
And I'd been looking forward to the weekend...
