April 2004

And, because I always like to start the month out with a few pictures...
Quite spontaneously, right in the middle of dinner, as she was sitting on my lap, Penny decided she wanted to be sociable.
Yay, another vegetable added to the list of things Matt and I are both willing to eat!
It doesn't matter how rough my day was, or how tired I am.
  But there are some days...
Betcha never thought you'd wish I'd go back to babbling about the baby, huh?
...I'm hoping to be granted an estate, too!
Let's just skip right to the adorable pictures, shall we?
Penny should like the switch, though.
Or maybe she'd just needed a good knock to the head.
  My baby's brain is broken.
Imagine, if you would, Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant playing in the background here.
Yesterday marked the first day of our annual Pollen Festival!
"So, um... What are you doing tomorrow, Mom?" "Not too much. Why?"
  So I'm still dragging.
I'm not asking for much, I don't think.
Funny how little it takes to make me happy.
Now, I'm kind of a superstitious person, really.
But I'll still be posting it in the photo album. So nyah.
What the hell do they think we're going to do on that deck, anyway?
I like calm. Calm is good.
