6 April 2004

Bleh. I think I'm sick. I've had a sore throat for about thirty-six hours now. It's not bad - I can swallow and talk - but it won't go away.

I'm just hoping that it's something I got from Penny (she's had a runny nose for the last few days, too) rather than something I'm going to give her.

I think she's starting to work her way towards separation anxiety. Just lately, she's had a tendency to start crying as soon as Matt or I put her down and walk away - not every time, but often enough. She gets distracted pretty quickly, so we know that it's not any sort of pain or hunger.

Boy, that's going to make things a lot more fun for Matt as he drops her off at daycare, isn't it?

I finally gave up and installed some graphics-manipulation software on my temporary computer at work. (My laptop is supposed to be coming back to me tomorrow or Thursday, but I've heard this before.)

So hopefully I'll get a few free minutes later to post some pictures to the album.

In the meantime...

Easter Eggs
The Easter egg kit I got this year came with felt hats. I especially liked this pair of good-guy and bad-guy top hats.

Teeth
This is a crop from a much larger picture I took of Penny playing in the bath (the full image will go up on the photo album, of course) but I wanted to grab this without reducing the image size, because if you look closely, you can see Penny's budding bottom teeth!

Baby Giggles
It doesn't matter how rough my day was, or how tired I am. Looking at that grin and listening to her wonderful little giggles always makes me smile.
