August 2004

Colleen brought Patrick over for a visit Saturday.
She looked up, beamed hugely, and clapped her hands together.
She stopped crying, and toddled away to show Dad her finds.
Penny woke up during the night and coughed. Just once.
  Or maybe I'm just tired.
You know, when I said that, I was joking.
That noise has nearly replaced dripping water as a tension-trigger for me.
This morning, Penny toddled out of the kitchen, and returned with her favorite book.
In commemoration of Penny's birthday, I present her first year, in review.
Luckily, I had my camera with me.
I promised you a picturelicious entry this morning, and that's what I've got!
Mind you, I'm not holding my breath or anything...
I thought it was really nifty, and wanted one.
It's gonna be a good day.
At least I don't have to be in the meeting that the muckity-mucks are here for.
I think this is even stupider than the time I wound up on crutches after playing Frisbee.
And Kevil is getting very, very moody about having to tell this story.
No, really, go on and guess what happened.
I actually got some official recognition from the company yesterday, for my work on the Project of Hate and the Spreadsheet of Doom.
I know, I know, I make everything far too complicated.
  Well, that's a loaded question, isn't it?
It's a luxury I haven't had for a while, and I'm really hoping to take full advantage of it.
