December 2004

It's time to start keeping very close track of my calendar and schedule, I guess.
The bad news is that... Well, I have an awful lot of work piled up for me today.
It's a good thing I knew about this in advance so I could bring stuff in.
I had a very nice weekend, thank you for asking.
It's not that I object to her wanting to stay in bed a little longer.
I'm going to have to push hard to make my writing goal this week.
And now, after the mother of all asides, do you remember what the original sentence was?
My dad called last night with sad news.
Anyway, it wasn't the party of the season or anything, but I had a pretty good time.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm not long for the office today.
That was good; we all got to be dramatic and piratical and swooshy.
But before I could go in, I had to stand out front for a while, pondering the merits of this sign:
Well, I had a really just amazing Christmas holiday.
I have actual work to occupy me today, though... Alas.
All of which was a very boring journal entry, no doubt, but I'm kind of astonished, given that I got approximately four hours of sleep, that it's as coherent as it is.
So much for getting my writing average up to snuff, or even getting any writing at all done this week.
