Feeling a bit better today, thanks for asking. My stomach's still feeling a little delicate, but I'm not actively queasy or nauseous, which is an enormous improvement.

Unfortunately, that means I really don't have much to talk about today. I went home a bit early yesterday, and spent the evening doing the bare minimum that I could get away with. My Pampered Chef consultant called and I placed my huge order (about $450 worth of stuff that I'll be getting for about $100, whoo!), and that was pretty much my excitement for yesterday.

I did go to visit Kris on my lunch break, to take her some of the food from the Pampered Chef party and help break the tedium of being stuck on bedrest. She seemed grateful for the company, but it seemed like she'd found ways to keep busy, even if she can't get up and move around.

She'd had a doctor's visit that morning, and confessed to being so thrilled to be able to get out of the house - for any reason - that she got all dressed up and put on makeup and jewelry for the occasion. I laughed, but could sympathize, really.

The nurse told her that since she's not on "strict" bedrest, she could actually be up on her feet for a total of about 3 hours per day (though not doing anything strenuous, like housework, and if she had any contractions, she was to sit down again immediately). Knowing Kris, she'll push the limits of that three hours as hard as she can.

Can she last another week? We'll find out!
