I feel... good. Yesterday's SCAMPI stuff went smoothly. I had a training session for which I'd allotted two hours, but it only took about one. That's a good sign; it means that the people I was training were comfortable with the material. There were two interviews - one with me, and one with some other people - and both of them ended early. That's a good sign, too - it means that the auditors didn't need much from us. There isn't any real SCAMPI activity on the schedule for my project today, so I'll be able to get some of my regular work done, and prepare for the trip up to DC. I got the new website design up and running, mostly. (Did you notice?) I made a sort of monster-burger meatloaf for dinner last night, with chopped spinach and cheddar, and it was tasty. I finished cleaning up "Dawning Hope" last night. I haven't re-read it as a whole yet, but it was nice to finally get the last little bit done. Kevil's been quietly composing a new song off to one side of my mind for the last day or so. It's very much not his usual style, and he's vastly amused by the whole project. I like it when my residents are happy. Penny only woke up once during the night, and she was quiet again before I got to her door. And she didn't wake up until about 5:40 this morning - and instead of getting fussy right away, she laid in her crib and talked quietly to herself or her toys until our alarms went off and Matt went in to get her. And, of course, it's Friday. So, all in all: Feeling good. There probably won't be a journal entry Monday, since I'll be in DC. So y'all have a good weekend, and I'll see you Tuesday! |
