Happy tax day! Have you done your taxes, faithful U.S. citizens?

Matt and I already got our refunds a few weeks ago. Which means we need to get on the ball and contact someone about the improvements to the house we want to make.

Penny went to bed at 8, and woke up at 11. And 12:30. And 2:15 (and that time was awake for half an hour). And 3:00. And 5:15. And 5:45.

So you'll excuse me, please, if I'm not altogether coherent today. (Or very responsive, for those of you with whom I hang out online during the day.)

I've got two documents sitting on my desk, and a third that I'm expecting in the next couple of hours. All of them are medium-to-large - fifty pages or so - and contain intricate details. All of them need to be gone over with a fine-tooth comb, because our new documentation person, while very sweet and nice, does not proofread very well.

I've got a spreadsheet to work on, though luckily that's not actually due until the end of the month - but it's a big one, so I really need to try to make some headway on it.

I've got a running list of tasks that I need to work on that I keep putting off.

I've almost completely stalled out on editing Willow Bough, and really need to pick it back up again soon.

I need to do a little research and pick out a couple of options for Matt and I to have dinner on Sunday.

I need to take this CD of pictures down to Target to get prints before the scrapbook workshop next weekend.

Also, I need to take an hour or so and organize the other stuff I'll need to take to the workshop - stickers and paper and such - and put it all in one bag, so I don't end up lugging my entire collection of scrapbooking stuff with me.

I need to remember to send out some emails I've been meaning to send, and forgetting.

I need to remember to put a new book of checks in my purse, because I used my last check the other day.

But most of all... I need to get myself a cup of coffee.
