Karen got to town last night. Whoo! Let the festivities begin!

I'm off tomorrow - I'll be going down to Chesapeake to visit.

Saturday, Ashby and his family are supposed to come to town. I expect everyone will converge at our house around mid-afternoon and we'll all go out to dinner somewhere.

I'm not sure about Sunday. I think Ashby and crew are leaving again (alas), and Jeff is supposed to get to town. So I'm not sure where anyone will be at any given time. My guess is that everyone will stick close to home, which is to say that Karen and the Hickseses will stay in Chesapeake, and Matt and I will stay home, and we may or may not see Ashby before they leave, but we'll probably have Jeff for dinner, since he's staying in Williamsburg.

Monday will be the big cookout - that's at our house.

Tuesday and Wednesday, I'm taking off from work as well. No plans have been made, but my best guess is that I'll pick up Jeff and we'll go down to Chesapeake, and/or have the Hickseses and Karen over. I don't know if Matt's thinking of taking any time off. I think he's waiting to see if work dumps anything on him.

Next Thursday, I'm back at work, and Jeff heads back to North Carolina (he's flying in via NC so he can visit his parents and sister, as long as he's in the general area). Karen will be in town through the weekend, but I don't know if we'll see her again. She's going with the Hickseses on Saturday to go to K.T.'s dad's annual barbeque, and then leaving Sunday. But maybe we'll invite everyone up for dinner again on Friday.

So anyway, chances are good that you won't hear anything from me again except maybe in the blog until next Thursday. And I'm verylots looking forward to the festivities. Even if there's this weird abbreviation of them that will happen because of the need for toddlers to have naps and get to bed at a reasonable hour.

I'm not sure exactly how I'm supposed to get through today, though...
