Yesterday, Penny was Two, in all its whiney, tantrum-y glory.

Though, weirdly, she cheered up remarkably after Matt gave her a time-out. Maybe we should stop being so hesitant about them.

After Penny went to bed, I made some headway in my file re-organization project, and then decided I simply couldn't go any further without sitting down and seriously planning how I wanted to organize all my stuff. Ninety-five percent of it isn't a problem, but that last five percent is killing me.

For instance, I'd originally decided to put Meadehall-related files in a subfolder under Gaming. But... I've got the files for my gaming website stored in a different place, along with all the files for all my other sites. And there are Meadehall-related stories in one of the other sites. And there are Meadehall-related pictures in my Graphics folder. In several different subfolders of my Graphics folder, even.

That doesn't even touch on all my stuff for the world of Gaena, which is tangentially related to the Meadehall, having grown out of it - which means there are overlapping graphics and stories.

And having stuff scattered all over wouldn't really be that much of a problem, except that I've got duplicates all over the place, and that's just inefficient, and it makes it hard for me to update anything, and it makes it difficult for me to find anything.

So, yeah, I need to sit down and decide exactly how I want to organize all this stuff.

Sort of a spring-cleaning for my computer.

And I've finally sketched out a rough outline of the bit I need to add to Willow Bough, so I should start trying to write it.

And probably sometime before the end of this week, I should sit down and make some plans for foodstuffs for Penny's birthday party, and what/where we're going to eat while Matt's mother is visiting next week.

Oh, yeah, and I've got a little actual work to do at work. (Not much, but some.)

And here I thought this week was going to be slow.
