October 2005

Somehow, 8:30 sounds perfectly reasonable, and 9 sounds decadently late.
"No, you can't have a banana. It's time to go to sleep."
But in the end, they're just excuses.
  It's only a four-mile drive, for petesake.
I'm not sure what this does to our plans for the weekend.
Sunday afternoon, we dropped Penny off with my parents, and Matt and I went to see Serenity.
I feel sleepy and lethargic, and all I want to do is curl into a ball and take a nap.
This is what I get for complaining that my life is boring and I have nothing to write about in my journal.
If I used it, I wouldn't have it anymore.
Oh, well. The tights are cute.
I'm just hoping for a nice, slow day at work.
Luckily, I am not a professional writer.
I'm feeling just a bit curmudgeonly today.
It was a big salad. And a lot of bread.
  Viva la tradition!
Arrr! It be a pirate party, matey!
  "B'gle pleeEEEEEeeeease!"
My brain is a bit fuzzy today.
So Matt and Karen and I ate a lot of barbeque...
And then when she's pretty well sugar-saturated, we'll take her home and try to convince her to go to bed.
I'm not so sure she gets trick-or-treating, just yet, but any holiday where people give her lots of candy is A-Okay with her!
Pictures:
- Arr! It be a pirate party, matey!
- We be drinking grog and eating cake.
- We be walking the plank, and counting our booty!
