I really did sleep last night, but I'm dragging this morning.

But it should be a fun day. I'm only working half a day, and unless Matt gets some work to do, he'll leave the office at noon, too. We'll spend the afternoon hanging out with Karen (of course we have no idea what exactly we'll be doing, but that's part of the fun, right?).

Then around 5, we'll pick Penny up from daycare and change her into her little dog costume, and take her over to Matt's office for the Hallowe'en party there. We'll hang out there for an hour or two, then go back over to daycare for their Hallowe'en party.

And then when she's pretty well sugar-saturated, we'll take her home and try to convince her to go to bed.

That's a joke.

Sort of. But not really.

But she was in a great mood this morning, so I'm hoping it holds and we have a good time.

I'm looking forward to a (hopefully) quiet weekend. We'll see how that flies.
