24 February 2006

Friday again.

I'm not entirely sure what to do with the weekend. But then, I never really am. It's supposed to be pretty nice tomorrow, so maybe I'll take Penny to the park -- that'll be a nice treat for her.

And we should try to visit my parents; they're leaving next weekend for Cancun and won't be back until mid-March, so they'll want a little extra time with her before they go, I'm sure.

And, of course, I'm sure there will be several viewings of The Princess Movie (a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty).

And I need to do some more cooking, because it's working out really well for me to have some soup and a slice of cheese toast for dinner.

This morning in the car, Penny was looking at her book and randomly talking, and then she coughed.

And then she made a noise like a tiger with a hairball.

"Sweetie, are you okay?"

Silence.

"Sweetie?"

She made the noise again.

I turned around to look at her. "Penny, are you okay?"

She grinned and wrinkled her nose at me. "Yeah!"

Goofball child.

So. Today, and then the weekend. And then February's almost done.

Thank you, o merciful gods.
