March 2006

And she might be sick, the Mutant Worrybrain said.
Penny's never been bowling, so I have no idea how she'll react.
But mostly, I think she stuck around for the popcorn.
Thank goodness it's been chilly out.
It was an awesome day to be a mommy, yesterday.
I almost fell asleep in the car on the way to work.
I know, I swore I wasn't going to do that anymore, but...
I sense that someone is going to have a princess-themed birthday party this year.
Three chapters later, I glanced idly at the clock, eeped, and turned out the lights.
Gods know, I need something to cheer me up.
That sounds shorter than "two weeks," don't you think?
  "That's not a zebra, it's a dragon, silly."
"Look! Up inda sky! SUPER Daddy!"
Every time I blink, it's an effort to get my eyes open again.
We didn't see any birds when I opened the blinds, but Penny's face lit with delight and awe.
Everything is SO much easier when everyone is feeling good.
The ways of Daddy are mysterious, indeed.
Not the most auspicious of mornings.
So today will be pretty busy, but I'm hoping it will be a productive busy rather than a scurry-around-and-accomplish-nothing busy.
So my house is two boxes and a bag less cluttered today. Whee!
  Matt's coming home tomorrow!
So Penny and I are at home today.
Pictures:
