Not much to say today.

Penny was kind of tired/whiny last night, but she slept until 7 this morning -- and then woke up only because I went into her room to wake her up. (Naturally I was awake at 5:45, anticipating her wakeup.)

I know, I swore I wasn't going to do that anymore, but I had an appointment at 8 to have my thyroid tested again, so I couldn't really let her sleep in too much longer.

For a treat (and since she asked nicely) I let her stay in the crib while I changed and dressed her, and for a change, she didn't scream and cry that she had the wrong toy when we pulled out. So it was a pretty good morning.

Better still, the doctor's office let me in early, and the nurse actually knew what she was doing. So I'm at work only about ten minutes later than usual, and not feeling too rushed.

I'm hoping for a good weekend. The weather looks nice -- sunny and in the 70s. Neither Penny nor I wore a jacket this morning, even. So maybe we'll end up at the park, or at least outside in the yard or on the deck.

I'm not really sure what else we'll do, but I'm sure we'll think of something.
