One of the technical writers at my office is leaving.

I'm not terribly surprised to see her go. She was the darling of our old CM manager, and -- well, I won't be catty. We'll just say there's a certain amount of personality conflict between her and the new CM manager, and I imagine that certain changes the new manager is trying to make will probably go more smoothly once she's gone.

Still, she's a very nice person, and it's not like I'm happy to see her go.

Especially since it leaves us with just the CM manager and one part-time tech writer to pick up all the slack on document production until we can hire and train someone else.

So, uh, anyone wanting to move to Williamsburg and work as a tech writer? Drop me a line.

Let's see, what else...

Penny's been sleeping until after 7 -- we've been having to go into her room and wake her up at 7:15. (I say "we." I mean "Matt." He has this knack for waking her up without making her all grouchy and cranky.)

I expect that she'll adjust to the time change all at once, probably on Saturday so Matt doesn't get to sleep in at all over the weekend.

I've been making lists of stuff to take on the trip this weekend. I can't wait, really, but there isn't much to say about it in advance.

Okay, I just don't have a lot to say today, I guess.

Sometimes I'm lame like that.
