22 September 2006

I had fun scrapbooking last night. I got both Penny's birthday and my Cancun trip done. I'd been waffling over how to squash Cancun into a single two-page spread, but then I thought, hey, it's an event. I did manage to confine it to four pages (two two-page spreads) which, given the number of pictures I had to work with, was an impressive effort.

Then I went home with every intention of having a very light dinner to make up for the M&Ms I'd splurged on in the afternoon -- I still could have come in within the daily calorie goal, even! -- except that Matt had picked up pizza for dinner. It was even Hawaiian, my favorite.

I cannot resist pizza.

Oh, well. At least the current Warcraft obsession kept me from snacking in the evening. Whoo, way to justify computer gaming!

It's Friday. Movie Night, at least in theory. Last Friday, Movie Night was put on hold by Jill's visit. The week before that, we were powerless in the wake of Tropical Storm Ernesto. I wonder if we'll actually be able to do Movie Night tonight!

We're looking at a pretty busy weekend. Emma's birthday party is Saturday evening -- which means we need to go shopping for a present for her Saturday morning. Saturday mid-day, I have tentative plans to go clothes shopping with Alexis, though for them to become solid, I'll need to call my parents and see if they're willing to give Penny lunch and put her down for her nap.

Sunday is Braz's birthday... late lunch, or early dinner, however it works out. At least at 3:30 in the afternoon, the restaurant won't be crowded! And if we get back from that in time, there's a Warcraft guild activity that I'd kind of like to participate in, just because it sounds fun.

So, yeah. Busybusy. But fun, I hope.
