October 2006

A whole week without internet! However will we survive?!
And, of course, staying at Grandma Brooks', we will be Fed.
I will not tell you about all the assorted disasters that befell our trip to Chicagoland today, and you will not complain that the entry is 90% pictures.
We're moving into the busybusybusy time of year.
"There is cheese! In my nose!"
I remembered my camera today, so as promised: pictures!
We'll see when I get there whether I've got any courage...
It'll take some getting used to, but I like it.
Karen dubbed it "cute" and "perky."
We ate and talked and drank and generally had a lovely time.
But I was pleasantly surprised at most of the writing.
Speaking of life in the real world, Matt and I are going to a Hallowe'en party this weekend.
I came home from book club last night to discover our house had been Boo'ed.
They had fun and shared surprisingly willingly and took turns and were adorable.
Matt and I tried valiantly to sleep in Sunday morning, but were up by 7:30.
She's already very excited about that, and I'm looking forward to it.
