2 October 2006
Holy crap, it's October. We had a nice weekend. I went to a scrapbooking event on Saturday with Elizabeth. I got some pages done, had a very nice lunch, and we talked a lot. I even got to attend for free, because I'd finished the 50-page "Summer Challenge". I was, in fact, the grand prize winner -- I got a bunch of papers and stickers and stuff as a prize. And my consultant said that she was probably going to buy the new CM bag and cart soonish, and that she'd be willing to sell me her old one at a discount when she did. Which is nice, because I'd like a cart to bring stuff to the all-day events (and to store stuff at home that otherwise is just heaped in a corner of the dining room) but I really don't care for the new bags at all. I actually went to bed before 11:30 last night. Why do I feel more tired than mornings after going to bed at midnight? Um, yeah. So, the WoW addiction continues unabated. Of course, we're about to go to Chicago for a week. We'll be bringing a computer with us, because letting Penny watch movies on the computer is an excellent solution to her restlessness on the plane and at the baggage area, and also easier than learning the vagaries of various relatives' entertainment systems. But getting online will be more or less out of the question. A whole week without internet! However will we survive?! On the plus side, just think of the resting bonuses we'll have when we get back! |
