Yep, still liking the hair. Karen dubbed it "cute" and "perky." I did experiment with putting a little gel in it last night while it was still wet, but it didn't really help the body or curl any, and it's kind of dirty-feeling this morning, so I won't be doing that again. But I found a cute way to style it that takes all of about fifteen seconds.

Yay, versatility!

I'm about half-asleep this morning; what with this (which is to say World of Warcraft), that (mutant worrybrain) and the other thing (a persistent cough), I was up until nearly 2. I'm having some trouble getting my eyes to focus.

I was actually proud of myself for realizing I'd forgotten my rings and going back upstairs to get them, but now I realize I'd also forgotten to put on earrings this morning. Ah, well.

So maybe it's a good thing that it's Movie Night. If I can manage to avoid logging into WoW after the movie, I might manage to get to bed at a reasonable hour.

I denied Penny a cup of milk before bed last night, and this morning her diaper was still dry. Whoo!

I think we're going to have to take the advice a few people have given me, now -- just put her in panties and be braced to deal with a few messes until she catches on. She's obviously able to hold it for long periods. She's obviously capable of using the potty -- in Chicago, she didn't even have a kid's booster to help her balance; she just held my hand. I think she's just not bothering to learn the need-to-go signs because she doesn't have to.

It won't be fun, but everyone who's suggested just putting her in panties has said their own kids got the hang of it after only a couple of messes, so maybe we'll just pick a weekend when we can stay home most of the day, and charge.

Though I guess the first step would have to be, you know. Getting her some panties.
