November 2006

How does one get lollypop drool on the back of one's neck, I ask you?
Boy, that'll be a good joke on him.
It's looking like a surprisingly slow weekend.
Then she climbed back into her crib and went back to sleep.
  "I did it!"
  In hushed, reverent tones: "Candy."
Penny was so eager to get downstairs and "help" me open presents this morning that she could barely talk.
By which I mean that she blew it out before I managed to take a breath.
Gonna be one of those weeks.
I don't know where that came from, but it's been bouncing around in my head for days and I had to get it out somewhere.
I'm not precisely looking forward to this trip, next week.
"Try it! Try it! And you may! / Try it and you may, I say."
And a bribe of popcorn ought to take care of most of the rest, right?
But hey, Matt and I got to see the whole thing!
Festive! And social! And we wouldn't have to do any cooking or clean-up!
Since my camera's card died and I lost the birthday picture, I made Matt blow out candles again last night so I could get another.
How do I summarize this without making it ten pages long?
We talked about the morality of zoos, and the essense of faith, and the nature of reality.
