Penny dissolved into hysterics right around bedtime last night. I'm wondering if she's starting to cut out her nap at school, or make it shorter. In any case, if she does it again, we're going to have to consider adjusting her bedtime so she gets more sleep. On the other hand, despite having some milk to drink during storytime, her diaper was dry this morning. Whoo! It's looking like a surprisingly slow weekend. I'm going to a Pampered Chef thing on Saturday, but it mostly overlaps Penny's naptime, so it's not like Matt's going to have to do much extra child-wrangling while I'm gone. Other than that, our schedule is pretty much wide open. I'm about half-debating trying to put Penny in panties instead of pull-ups, but we'd have to go buy a dozen or so panties for her, and I don't know if it would even work yet. So, what with one thing and another at work, and other background information far too boring to actually lay out, my boss has decided that he wants me to be more actively involved in our hardware QA. Specifically, he wants me trained in how to perform the hardware QA, well enough that I can do it solo if we wind up with all our usual hardware folks on the road. From a business perspective, I understand his point, and I actually am a logical choice. But from a personal perspective, I really hate doing this kind of stuff. Anyway, we have a shipment going out early next week, which means it's time to do the hardware checks now. So I'm going to spend probably half the day today in the warehouse, being trained and helping with the pre-shipment review. Goodie. |
