As of today, Matt and I have been married 9 years. Wow. Happy anniversary, sweetie. We exchanged presents this morning. I got some nifty dragon books and a Harry Potter widget and my favorite season of Buffy on DVD. Matt got some silly Warcraft gear (a "Green Linen Shirt" and a quest-giver hat). Beware of geeks bearing gifts. I'm going to strangle someone at work, I think. I spent all day yesterday waiting for a document I never got. It eventually got pushed off to today, but this seems to happen for every document for this project. Penny and I were talking while she was in the tub last night, and I mentioned that we were going to get her a big-girl bed to sleep in, soon. "'Cause I'm a big girl!" "That's right! You're too big for a crib. Cribs are for little babies." "My crib is too little." "Yep. And maybe someday, after you're in your big girl bed, you'll have a little brother or sister who will sleep in the crib." "The baby is gonna sleep with me!" "No, the baby is going to sleep in the crib. You are going to sleep in a big-girl bed." "I'm gonna have a little baby sister!" "Well, not for a while. Babies take a long time. And it might be a little baby brother, instead." "No... Just a sister." |
Last Year: For trashy romance novels, they're quite good. 5 Years Ago: It's not enough to make a whole story - just a scene, really - so I thought I'd put it here, because if I don't write it somewhere, it's going to refuse to leave my brain. Listening: - iPod on random Netflix: - Nell - Memento Playing: - Warcraft - Neopets Projects: - the photo album - scrapbooks (post-college, '07) |
