Well, it didn't take me long to find my journal substitute. Update your bookmarks to http://wherelizlives.blogspot.com. I'm still dorking around with layout options and such, but you can start reading entries from me there immediately. (I'll delete the test posts after there are a couple of real posts to show.)

I think this will be a good move, in the long run. Yeehaw has been more than good to me, and I'll be leaving my archives up here for quite some time (at least until I have the enormous amount of time needed to move them somewhere) but using a bloghost site will give me some options I haven't been able to support when I've been doing all the coding myself, like an RSS feed and tags.

Not to mention the ability to post my entries via email if when my company decides to tighten the screws and block access to the blogging sites. (It'll also let me throw up quick notes from wherever and whenever, once I get a phone with email capability. I don't know how much I'd use that, but it does seem to happen to me fairly often that something happens I'd like to put in my journal, but then I forget about it by morning.)
